Richard Lindsay

Our performance at Lincoln Drill Hall in September 2004 included a few different items: Matthew played Harte oppressed, the first published piece of English lute music, and a Dump attributedto Philip van Wilder. Oh yes, and we played a very different version of some Holborne dances, scored for recorder, hurdy-gurdy and renaissance guitar! Did it work? Probably not, but it was fun anyway. The Ruston room at the Drill Hall is an excellent venue with a good acoustic - just remember to cut down on the warm clothing when performing there when it is hot!
